Description

This is an early 19th-century building with later alterations, located on Cross Street. It is a brick structure, painted, and stands three storeys high with a seven-window frontage. Most of the windows are later replacements, lacking glazing bars, but are casement windows. A covered walkway with arches connects numbers 6 and 8. The building has four later 19th-century shop fronts at ground level, plain and toothed eaves, and a slate roof. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the wider group value of buildings in the area.
