Description
Holly Lodge is a cottage that likely dates back to the early 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the 18th century and later. It features a timber frame with painted brick nogging and has been extended in painted brick. The gable end wall is rendered, and the roof is covered with slate. The framing consists of irregular square and rectangular panels, and the building has two framed bays along with additional sections. It is one storey high with an attic. There is a central brick ridge stack, an integral brick end stack to the left, and a stack behind the ridge that is off-centre to the right. The front has three gabled eaves dormers, each with 2-light wooden casements. The facade includes four windows, featuring 1- and 2-light 20th-century wooden casements. A 20th-century boarded two-leaf door is located between the first and second windows from the right. The interior has not been inspected.
