Description

No. 12 Cross Street is a detached villa built in the early to mid-19th century. The building is constructed of red brick and has two storeys. It features three sash windows with plain lintels, with the ground floor windows being tripartite and topped with segmental arches. The entrance is highlighted by a moulded wood pilaster doorcase that includes a rectangular fanlight and a part-glazed six-panelled door, which is complemented by a modern pedimental porch. The villa has bold lined eaves supported by console brackets and is topped with a hipped slate roof.
