Description

The White House is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage that has undergone later alterations. It features painted brick infilling and is a single storey structure. The cottage has two casement windows, although one has been replaced with a modern version. There is a blocked doorway and a one-storey lean-to addition on the north side, which includes a plain doorway with a wooden trellis gabled porch. The eaves are plain, and the roof is covered with slates. Inside, the cottage has exposed ceiling beams.
