Service Block Adjoining The Old Manor House To North West

The building is a service block adjoining the Old Manor House to the northwest, likely originally a house, dating from the mid-17th century with an addition around 1700. It is constructed of dressed yellow and grey sandstone, with a sandstone ashlar addition, and features a plain tile roof. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with a one-storey and attic addition.

The south front includes a plinth that is chamfered at the rear, and two small gabled eaves dormers that contain two-light wooden casements. There is an off-centre stone ridge stack to the right, which has two square shafts with a moulded base and cornice, and a parapeted gable end to the left that features chamfered coping and an integral stone end stack with a moulded cornice. The right-hand part from the 17th century has three first-floor windows and two ground-floor windows, which are one- and three-light double-chamfered stone mullioned windows. The 18th-century addition to the left has a pair of two-light double-chamfered stone mullioned windows flanking a boarded door, with a visible straight joint marking the addition.

Inside, there are 17th-century chamfered spine beams, a five-bay roof with tie-beam trusses that have two collars and queen struts, and brick nogging infill with lath and plaster. The roof also features pairs of purlins with wind braces.
