Description
Dawes Lines is a cottage dating from around 1700. It is timber-framed with rendered infill panels and has coursed limestone rubble end walls. The roof is made of corrugated iron and is half hipped to the left, featuring an external limewashed stone stack on the right. The framing consists of square panels, with three panels reaching up to the wall plate, and the structure includes two framed bays. The cottage has one and a half storeys, with two gabled semi-dormers that contain 19th-century two-light metal casements. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century two-light metal casements flanking a central 19th-century four-panelled door.
