Description
The limekilns, located immediately west of the Hoffman kiln and chimney, are now disused and likely date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from roughly coursed limestone rubble and feature a high battered revetment wall with a projection to the left. The right side has a round-headed kiln with a red brick arch, while the projection contains a large segmental-headed kiln with a purple engineering brick inner recessed arch. In front of the kilns, there is a platform that also supports the Hoffman chimney, which is accompanied by a low retaining wall. The left kiln is open to the top.
