37 and 38 High Street are early 19th-century buildings constructed of stucco. They stand three storeys high and feature two windows, with 20-pane sash windows, one of which has been altered to modern plate glass. The buildings also include two modern shops and are topped with a slate roof. Nos 28 to 40 High Street form a group.
