Description

This is a 17th-century building, largely rebuilt during that period. It is located on the south side of High Street. The building is three stories high with dormers. Constructed of red brick, it features four sash windows with modern glazing. Wide eaves are supported by brackets. At the rear are two wings with large, black, weather-boarded gables. A staircase, dating around 1670, is said to be inside the building. A modern shop front has been added. The building is part of a group that includes numbers 28 to 40 on the same side of the street.
