Description

14 and 15 New Market Street are two cottages that date from the later 18th century, although they may have an earlier core. The exterior is roughcast over painted coursed stone rubble, topped with a steep-pitched Welsh slate roof and featuring brick end stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have a three-window range, with a central fixed light flanked by three-light casements. The entrances are located in the centre and consist of 20th-century four-panel doors under simple flat hoods supported by brackets. To the right, there are two three-light casements, also from the 20th century. The left side of the building features a roughcast gable with large purlins.
