Description

This barn, located approximately 50 meters northeast of How Caple Court, dates from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and has double Roman tiles that have replaced the original stone slates. The barn features four bays and was originally designed with a central threshing floor. The entrance is flanked by two rows of loop vents and includes a circular owl hole in the gable. On the east front, the entrance now has a pointed arched window with Y-tracery.
