This description refers to a pair of chest tombs located about 2 yards east of the east window of the chancel of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. The southern tomb is dated 1779, while the northern tomb is dated 1820. Both tombs are made of sandstone ashlar and feature moulded bases and flat inscribed cappings with moulded edges. They have corner balusters adorned with foliated decoration and plain rectangular side panels that are recessed behind moulded margins. Each east panel has a garland that encloses an achievement. The southern tomb is inscribed to Moore Green, who died in 1779, and the northern tomb is inscribed to John Moore Green, who died in 1820.
