Description
Upper House is a house likely built in the early 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick and plaster infill and has a Welsh slate roof. The house has external end stacks with sandstone rubble bases and brick shafts. It has a rectangular two-bay plan oriented north-east to south-west and consists of one storey with an attic.
On the north-west elevation, there are two windows on the ground floor. The left window is from the mid-20th century and has two lights, each divided into four panes. The right window is a mid-19th century casement with two lights. To the left of center, there is a gabled porch from the early 20th century that contains a contemporary ledged door. The frame of the porch has three irregular panels high from the cill to the wall-plate.
