Description

Westington Court is a house dating from the 15th, 16th, and 18th centuries. The timber-frame structure is partially covered with roughcast plaster and plaster panels. The south elevation is faced with 18th-century red brick and features sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and slated with gable ends. The house is two storeys high with an attic and includes an end cross-wing. Casement windows are present, along with an old wood mullion-transom window on the west side. A central stack is a feature of the building. The interior contains a mid-17th century staircase, 17th-century panelling, and a good early 17th-century overmantel with arched bays and grotesque caryatids.
