Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with an extension added in the early 18th century and some alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and has a machine tile roof. It features gable-end stacks with rectangular brick shafts. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a band at each floor level, with five windows that are modern cross casements. On the ground floor, there is a three-light casement window beneath a brick segmental head. The central entrance, which previously had a pediment indicated by a break in the band above, now includes a four-pane overlight and a modern panelled door. To the right of the main structure, there is a single-storey service extension. Inside, the walls are fully framed on either side of the central stair hall, which features a 17th-century staircase with turned balusters and a moulded string.
