Description
Court Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and rendered infill, set on a coursed rubble plinth, and features a slate roof. The building has an L-plan layout, with the main section extending to the west and a subsidiary section to the north.
The south front of the farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows: two 2-light casements flank a single-light casement. The entrance, located to the left of centre, has a flat felted canopy and a 20th-century ledged and boarded door, with a moulded surround. The framing consists of two rectangular panels on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The gable-end truss includes two collars and multiple struts.
