Description
The hop kilns and attached buildings, located 20 yards south of Pantall's Farmhouse, date from the 18th century and were extended in the late 19th century. The structure features a timber-framed building with brick infill from the 18th century, alongside brick hop kilns. The roofs are covered with slate and plain tiles, hipped to the northwest. The layout is in an L-shape, with the timber-framed range oriented north to south and an attached rectangular hop kiln at the southern end, which returns to a second hop kiln to the east. The west elevation has a hipped roof, with the left part remodeled in the late 19th century. This section overlaps the central timber-framed part, which has two evenly spaced openings on the first floor. To the right side, a large hop kiln is attached. There is a mid-20th century sliding door entrance at the north end.
