Description
These stables, built in the late 18th century, are made of sandstone rubble and feature 20th-century corrugated asbestos roofs. They form the eastern enclosure of a foldyard, situated approximately 50 meters northeast of Pembridge Castle, with a barn to the south and another barn and granary to the north. The stable block consists of five bays and is two storeys high, with square-headed doorways and windows. There are external steps leading to the first floor at the south gable end. A 20th-century lean-to extension partially obscures the stables, but this extension is not included in the listing. The stables are included for their group value with the adjacent barn and granary.
