Description
This is a group of two chest tombs located approximately 0.5 meters east of the south transept of the Church of St Andrew and St Mary. The tombs date from the late 18th century and early 19th century and are constructed from sandstone ashlar, featuring moulded plinths and capping. One of the tombs is a memorial to Joshua James, dated 1772, which has balusters flanking a fielded inscription panel. The other tomb, from the early 19th century, has tapering sides, fielded inscription panels, and a pyramidal capping.
