Description

The former granary, now used as a store, is likely from the late 18th century. It features a high sandstone rubble plinth, a timber-frame structure with brick nogging, and a slate roof with a fairly low pitch. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of four bays arranged roughly east to west. On the south elevation, there are tallet stairs on the right side leading up to a ledged door. The frame consists of two panels high from the plinth to the wall-plate. The eastern truss, located near the external stack of the farmhouse, has an interrupted tie-beam and heavily cranked principals, while the three western trusses have pegged king posts.
