Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage, now faced with roughcast rendering. It has a tiled roof with gable ends. The cottage is two stories high and has four windows, which are modern two-light metal-frame casements. The ground floor has two modern, plain doors. The timber frame is exposed inside, and a ground floor room features stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. It forms a group with numbers 33 to 37 (the odd numbers), the Horseshoe Inn, and numbers 67, 71, and 73, noting that number 71 is a building of local interest.
