Description
Perrycroft Lodge is a lodge built around 1900 by C F A Voysey in the Arts and Crafts Style. It features roughcast on a brick plinth and a green swept slate roof that is hipped to the right. The building has a 'T' plan, with a single storey section to the east that includes a battered ridge chimney, and a two-storey cross-wing to the west. The east part has a range of continuous lead casements facing south, while the west part has paired casements on both the ground and first floors. The entrance is through a panelled door with eight glazing bar panes, located on the east side of a small gabled porch at the junction of the two parts. It is believed that the west cross-wing may have been heightened by one storey, although there is little visual evidence to support this claim. The lodge forms a group with the stables to the west and north, as well as the coach-house, cottage, and tack-room to the west of Perrycroft.
