Description

The churchyard cross base, located about one yard south-west of the south porch of the Church of St Bartholomew, is possibly from the 14th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features an octagonal base with projecting steps. The upper face has a moulded rim and a square socket for the cross shaft.
