Description

This is a house dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate. A brick stack is located at the front, and another at the rear. The main facade has three storeys and two windows, featuring 8/8 sash windows set under stone flat arches. A number of 4/8 sash windows are set within semi-dormers, and a 20th-century window replaces what was probably the original doorway, which is adorned with a stone drip-course.

The right returned side of the house has 8/8 and 6/6 sash windows, alongside a 3/6 sash window above a half-glazed panelled door. A 6/6 sash window is also present, all of which are set under stone flat arches. A rear wing incorporates 20th-century casement windows.

The left returned side features an entrance at the first-floor level within a projecting bay, topped with a gable and a later open porch. A half-glazed door is positioned under the porch, flanked by a late 19th-century sash window and an 8/8 sash window. Above, there are three 4/8 sashes set in stone flat arches. A further wing to the left includes a tier of 8/8 sashes. A two-storey wing with a brick end stack completes the composition.
