Description
These former stables, now converted into apartments, are located approximately 30 meters north-east of Pennoxstone. They date from the late 18th century and were altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped tiled roof. It has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys high, with rusticated quoins and two string courses. There are three glazing bar sash windows with flat arches and prominent keystones. The central doorway, which originally had a Gibbs-style surround, has been converted into a window. Please note that Pennoxstone itself is not included in this listing.
