Description

This is a dovecote located approximately 50 metres north of Castle End, likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed from rubble and features a pyramidal tile roof with an octagonal plan. The openings have plain reveals, with a doorway on the north side and a second, blocked, doorway on the west side. There is also an opening at a higher level on the south side. Inside, it is said to be circular and contains honeycomb nesting boxes in the upper parts of the walls.
