Description
The Church of St Mary Magdalene, formerly known as the Church of St Bartholomew, is a parish church located in Huntington, Hereford. It was rebuilt around 1850 by B Cranstoun. The church is constructed from coursed dressed stone, featuring ashlar detailing, and has a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and a bellcote at the west end. The architectural style is described as "Norman," comprising a nave, chancel, and apse. The windows are small leaded lights, with painted glass in the east window of the apse, all set under arched lintels. There is a simple gabled porch with a moulded semicircular arch. The church includes corner buttresses and pilaster buttresses on the apse, corbels at the eaves, circular lights, and some dogtooth ornamentation.
