Description

Moor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into flats, dating from the early 17th century. It features a stone plinth with a combination of timber-frame and brick construction, and has render on the right side. The front pitch of the roof is covered with plain tiles, while the rear pitch and wings are finished with Welsh slate. The building has an E-shaped plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying a four-window range. The windows are 20th-century, two-light casements located in the projecting porch wing, which has moulded barge boards with a pendant. To the left, there are two similar windows, and to the right, there is a three-light casement set in render.

The porch is constructed of posts and planks, featuring a moulded frame and pierced splat-balusters, supported by moulded bressumers on curved brackets. It has panelled doors in a moulded frame, with additional panelling above. The building has various 20th-century casements in both render and brickwork.

On the right side, part of the wall is rendered, and there is a 20th-century entrance and window arrangement, similar to the narrow wing at the rear. The left side and rear wing also have 20th-century windows beneath a moulded bressumer on the front gable, with render on the ground floor.

Inside, there is a 19th-century dogleg staircase with stick balusters. The first floor features stop-chamfered ceiling beams, a stone stack, and exposed main posts.
