Description

Stapleton Lodge is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is a stuccoed villa featuring a hipped Welsh slate roof and has a rectangular plan with axial stacks. The building stands two storeys tall and is flanked by pilasters that are inscribed with Greek key ornament. The facade includes three glazing bar sash windows and a central entrance that has an open pedimented surround with panelled reveals. The doorway is semi-circular headed and features a decorative fanlight along with a panelled door.
