Description
The headstones located in the churchyard of the Church of St Andrew, positioned against the west churchyard wall to the south of the church, date from the early 18th century. They are made of slate and limestone.
One headstone is small and rectangular, featuring two round-faced winged angels, dedicated to Robert Bell Gardener, who died in 1728. Another headstone is made of limestone, shaped with relief carving, and commemorates a person named Wright from the early 18th century. A third headstone is also made of limestone and has a moulded surround, honoring George Pritchet, who died in 1737.
