Description

A farmhouse and associated farm buildings were constructed in the mid-18th century. The buildings are primarily brick, with steep pitched roofs covered in pantiles, and a catslide roof section. A brick plinth runs along the base, and the eaves are cogged, with coped gables featuring kneelers. There are three gable and one side wall stack. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has eight bays. To the left of the farmhouse are farm buildings, including a lean-to shed with a casement. A plank door is set into a return angle. A stable is positioned to the right, featuring a stable door flanked to the left by a segmental-headed doorway and to the right by a diamond breather and a blocked opening. An adjoining stable on the right has a doorway with a timber lintel and, to its right, a leaded casement. Above, there are two square hatches, one with a plank door. A further bay was added to the west front of the farmhouse in the 19th century. The west front features three casements alternating with two doors, all with segmental heads. Above, there are four casements, one with a round head. The south gable has a sash window with a segmental head to the right.
