Description

A group of farm buildings at Mulberry Close, located east of East Bridgford, were constructed in the early and mid-19th century with later 20th-century additions. The buildings are primarily brick with pantile roofs, featuring dentilated and chamfered eaves, coped gables with kneelers, and two 20th-century ridge stacks. Arranged around a yard, the complex is in a C-plan layout.

The north side of the complex includes a 3-bay stable rebuilt in the mid-20th century, a pigeoncote with two casements, and a curved cartshed with a single opening and timber lintel. The west gable features a grilled casement, while the east gable has nine alighting shelves.

The east side of the complex has a 2-storey stable with a central stable door featuring an elliptical head, flanked by casements with overlights. Above the door is a blocked pitch hole. To the right is an L-plan stable with two doors, followed by a slatted casement, all with segmental heads. A later 19th-century stable and a lower 20th-century addition adjoin this, with a reduced central door with a segmental head, flanked by 20th-century casements. Another addition has a door flanked by casements, also with segmental heads. An adjoining garage has a door with a timber lintel.
