Description

Laburnum Cottage is a house dating from around 1800, with additions from the 20th century. The house is constructed of brick, with pantile roofing. It features a brick plinth, dentillated eaves, coped gables, and three brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high, with a three-bay front and a four-bay depth, forming an L-shape. The windows are casements dating from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The ground-floor windows on the front have segmental heads, while the central door has a segmental head and overlight, flanked by casements. Above the door are three casements, the central one being smaller. A 20th-century two-storey addition extends to the left on the north-east side, alongside an off-centre lean-to porch with a door in the return angle. The addition has four casements on each floor, one with a segmental head.
