Description

These are a pair of gate piers dating from the late 18th century, located on the west side of Orston High Street. The piers are constructed of ashlar and are square, featuring rusticated detailing, plinths, and corniced caps. They are topped with broken ball finials, and scroll brackets support the gate strikes. Later 20th-century iron gates are now in place. The piers are listed at group value, recognising their contribution to the wider setting of Orston Hall.
