Description

Mulberry House is a house dated 1778, with alterations made in the late 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and features an interlocking concrete tile roof with tall brick end stacks and an eaves cornice made of diagonally set brickwork. The house has three bays, is two storeys high with garrets, and has a central 20th-century part glazed panelled door flanked by large bow windows also from the 20th century. On the first floor, there are a three-light window and two two-light windows, all with 20th-century casements. Above the central window is a stone plaque that reads "WME 1778."

Inside, opposite the door, there is a splat-baluster dog-leg stair with square newels and a straight slender handrail that ascends through all three storeys. The doors are made of four fielded panels. The oak and pine timbers include two moulded pine beams on the first floor and oak purlins in the roof.
