Description
The Kennels at Flintham Hall is a building constructed around 1857, likely designed by T. C. Hine for T. B. T. Hildyard. It is made of brick with a patterned plain tile roof and features ashlar dressings. The building has half-round brick eaves and a single side wall stack. It is a single-storey structure with five bays arranged in an H-plan. The doors have shouldered heads, and the unglazed windows have chamfered reveals. The north front includes projecting gabled wings at each end, each featuring a round-headed window. The central door is flanked by single spiked quatrefoil openings, and beyond this are single doors also flanked by single quatrefoils. Surrounding the building are brick boundary walls topped with ashlar coping and iron railings, which include three openings with wooden gates. The south side has similar walls and railings, with six wooden gates. To the left, there is a door with a segmental head, and to the right, there are six kennel openings.
