Description
The pigeoncote at Scarrington House is an early 19th-century structure built of brick and topped with a pyramidal pantile roof. It features dentillated eaves and ashlar dressings. The building has a square plan and consists of two stages. The front includes a pair of elliptical-headed carriage doors framed with ashlar, and above these is a chamfered opening with a segmental head. Above this opening is a square timber glover, also with a pyramidal roof, which is adorned with an elaborate wind vane. Inside, the pigeoncote contains timber and clay nest boxes.
