Description

The Old Vicarage, now a house, was built around 1830. It is constructed of brick with a coursed rubble plinth on the rear wing and features hipped and gabled slate roofs with rebated eaves. The building has a single ridge, gable, and side wall stacks, and consists of 2 and 3 storeys arranged in a square plan with 4 bays.

The windows are primarily glazing bar sashes with splayed rusticated lintels. The front elevation has an off-centre moulded doorcase with a panelled door and overlight. To the left, there are two sashes, and to the right, a single sash. Above, there are four sashes. On the north west side, there is a 20th-century door flanked by single casements. Above this, and again above, are two sashes with segmental heads, and to the right, there is a single sash on each floor.

On the south east side, there are two sashes to the left, and above, a blocked opening and a sash. The rear wing to the right features a sash with a segmental head flanked by single doors, the left door also having a segmental head. To the right again, there is another sash, and above, there are two sashes with segmental heads on each floor.

Adjoining the main building is a single-storey outbuilding made of brick with a slate roof. This outbuilding has two bays and includes a porch with a hood on brackets, two doors, and a casement.
