Description
The greenhouse at The Old Hall is an early 19th-century structure made of red brick, featuring a slate and glazed roof. It has a single red brick stack at the rear and a semi-circular ashlar coped parapet with kneelers, topped by a single ashlar orb finial on the left kneeler. The rear gable is also coped with brick and sits on a shallow plinth. This single-storey, single-bay greenhouse has a central doorway with a wood and glazed door, along with marginal glazing bar sashes. Above the door is a large semi-circular traceried fanlight that includes some coloured glass, though much of the glazing is missing. The south wall has a single large glazed light, and at the rear right, there is a brick wall that connects the greenhouse to the Hall.
