Description

Whitewater Bridge is a road bridge built around 1837. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings. The bridge features a chamfered string course and a coped parapet, which is supported by four square brick piers topped with square domed caps. There are three semi-circular arches, with the central arch being larger than the others. The parapets display iron plaques inscribed with 'Built by Subscription .... Built by the County ....' and 'Let Loyalty be the Bond of Union'.
