Description
33-35 Carter Gate is a row of three dwellings built in the early 18th century, with the ground floor converted into retail units in the 20th century. The building is rendered and features a pitched, tiled roof.
The ground floor is divided into three shopfronts. The left and center shopfronts have modern glazing and multi-light bow windows, while the right shopfront is a replica of a 19th-century design, featuring mullions, a recessed central half-glazed door, and a continuous fascia. The front elevation has three window openings at the first floor, each with three lights and 20th-century glazing. The roof is made of pantiles and has a single coped gable on the left side, which forms the party boundary.
