Description

The thirty-six railing piers at Kelham Hall date from the mid-19th century and are made of brick. They consist of a foundation wall that supports thirty-six square piers featuring blue brick bands and chequerwork, cogged eaves, and a moulded brick cornice. The piers are now connected by a 20th-century timber paling. These piers are included in the listing for their group value.
