Description

Pierrepont Bridge is a road bridge dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded soffit and parapet, along with a plain string course. The bridge has a single segmental arch and splayed parapet walls topped with moulded coping. There are four square piers with rebated corners, moulded plinths, and caps. On the east side, there is a low parapet that includes fragments of a former balustrade.
