Description
The lych gate and adjoining boundary wall at the Church of All Saints date from the 19th century and around 1920. The structure is made of dressed stone, brick, and timber, featuring a hipped plain tile roof with gables. The lych gate includes a pair of dwarf walls and three posts on each side, supported by curved brackets. It has a central tie beam with curved brackets and a scissor-braced roof. There are timber gates with segmental heads and a bronze memorial plaque from 1945. The boundary wall is topped with gabled blue brick coping and has a curved north end. It features a single square brick pier and two similar gate piers with pyramidal ashlar caps, along with a pair of 19th-century wrought iron gates and a decorative wrought iron overthrow with a square lamp.
