Description
The barn and stables located to the north of Ceres Lodge Farmhouse date from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick and feature hipped slate and gabled corrugated sheet roofs. The buildings are single and two storeys high, with a total of three, three, and four bays. The stable on the left has a single 20th-century opening with a steel lintel. The barn has a central door and a casement to the right, both with segmental heads. Above the casement, there are two square casements. The stable on the right has a stable door flanked by single casements, all with segmental heads. Additionally, there is a square-headed opening and a blocked opening to the right. This structure is part of a range of linked farm buildings surrounding the yard.
