Description
Highfield Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick, with some blue brick elements. It features a pantile roof and a single central ridge stack made of red brick. The gables are raised and coped with brick, supported by kneelers. The eaves display dentil, raised brick, and dogtooth detailing. The building is L-shaped, consisting of two storeys plus a garret and has two bays. There are two tripartite glazing bar casements on the ground floor, with two similar casements above, all set under segmental arches and flanked by single 20th-century shutters. Above the garret window on the left gable, there is a decorative blue brick diaper pattern. At the rear, there is a wing with a similar gable.
