Description
The Rodney School Lodge is a lodge built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped slate roof with a single painted ridge stack. The building stands two storeys high and has two bays.
At the front, there is a gabled porch with a plain bargeboard, and the entrance is under a flat arch with a single pointed arched light on each side wall. The inner doorway has a 20th-century plank door. To the left of the entrance, there is a single glazing bar casement, and above it are two small glazing bar casements.
The south-facing front has two bays, featuring a single glazing bar casement and, to the left, a semi-circular bow with two small glazing bar casements. Above these are four similar glazing bar casements, all with four pointed arched glazing bars.
On the rear (west) front, there is a single similar bow with three glazing bar casements, with smaller casements on either side, all featuring pointed arched glazing bars. Above this bow are two additional glazing bar casements.
