Description
The Old Hall is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, partly rendered, and features a 20th-century pantile roof. The building has a rendered plinth, a first-floor band, dentillated eaves, and coped gables with kneelers. It has three gable stacks and is two storeys high with garrets, arranged in an L-plan with three bays.
The main east front includes a central 19th-century gabled porch that is timber framed with a brick plinth and a patterned tile roof. The porch contains an 18th-century door with an overlight, flanked by single plain sash windows. Above this, there are three similar sash windows and a County Fire Insurance plaque. The south gable features a single Yorkshire sash window in the garret, while the north gable has a 20th-century casement window in the garret. The rear wing to the north has a Yorkshire sash window with a segmental head, flanked by single doors, and elsewhere there is 20th-century fenestration. The building is included for its group value only.
