Description
The boundary wall and gates at the Church of St Philip Neri were constructed in the mid-19th century and altered in 1925. The structure is made of brick and coursed squared stone, featuring ashlar dressings. There is a central splayed opening flanked by square brick gate piers that have rebated corners and flat moulded caps, supporting a pair of wrought-iron gates. The boundary wall extends approximately 120 meters on either side, topped with half-round coping. To the left, there is another pair of square vermiculated gate piers with pyramidal caps, along with an additional pair of wrought-iron gates. This structure is included for its group value.
