Description
South Lodge at Serlby Park is an early 19th-century lodge built of ashlar stone. It features a hipped slate roof that extends over the eaves, supported by two ashlar chimney stacks, one located at the rear and the other on the ridge of the projecting bay. The lodge is a single-storey structure with four bays and has canted ends that create a semi-octagonal shape. There is an off-centre projecting canted bay that contains three 20th-century glazing bar casements. To the left of this bay is a doorway with a part-glazed door and a single similar casement, while to the right is another single similar casement.
